the rising tide
glides

as I surmise

the nature
of the
feelings serpentine…

coiled
throughout
my entire being,
just as I’m feeling

the breeze

overwhelm me,
one wave at a time…

I consider
love…and,

the feelings
that arise,
just like
the sun

rising

over a benevolent sky…
