trees grow
tall,
and strong
from earthly soil, and

as
they
avail, are

given
guidance,
and strength
from beyond the pale

roots,
dug in deep,
like the veins
running through

you
and me…and,
as

reflection
gives way, a
preponderance
of evidence
comes
forth…

teaching us
of the unity,
and companionship,
between
all living things,
and the me, you see
