desert landscape,
apparently barren,
and unseen,
heat brings me
to my knees,
rocks and pebbles
embedded in dreams

rising from the floor,
transparent figures,
ghostly shapes,
reminding me,
plainly free

of past hindrances,
pondering
future dances,
you and me,
under the trees

shaded in love,
we agree
