pain and pleasure
often go together, a mystery

of feelings
conjured from the depths
of being

one
with the gifts bestowed
sitting transfixed

I know
the touch of butterfly wings
which

always
take me
into the night

where everything is hidden
yet

still in plain sight
reminding me

I have finally arrived
