the sun’s paradox

I rest my head
in a catalyst of stars

a blanket
nourishing the mind
and the body

the result
of a cherished, and
vulnerable heart

are
memories
brought about
by the sun’s paradox

a song
of complete, and incomplete
and everything
in between

A Field Full of Flowers, Published at Spillwords Press

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dagmara K, and the team at Spillwords Press for their continued support, and for publishing this piece.

A Field Full of Flowers

a field full of flowers…

dreams wake me from beyond, telling tales
of hope and despair
lost
to the stars

as they linger in the sky, just like the last time,
we said goodbye, holding you
close to heart, becomes
needed, and
necessary,

reminiscent….

I would be honored if you would go here, and read the entire poem. Thank you!

finally opened up

Photo by Johannes Plenio on Unsplash

looking out over
seas of tranquility,
never manifest,
even though I tried
my best

waiting to see,
wanting to learn,
watching the earth,
roam around my dearth

I digest more
than is possible,
all the while
the improbably
seems to find me

no matter
where
I hide the keys,
your always there

with,

just the right
instance,
forgetting
all about
my present
circumstances

taking courage

and,
a drive
that is more
than one will
combined

released, then,
years later, upon
a sea of possibility

finally found,
after ages,
while I resisted,
you persisted, gained
access

and,
showed
me the layer
upon layer of
human misery,

and,

the joy upon
joy, of human
ingenuity

ah, what

love is found
in a second act
of a life, thought
for a time broken
beyond repair,

and, yet
right there,

just then,

the brokenness
was sealed,
and delivered, as
completeness
set in

and,

the
whole world
finally opened up
to me,
through you,
and, everything,
my dear, became
so very clear
