liquid heart

I look up, and down
liquid heart

in pools, I drown

waiting for the sun to arise
again

in my heart

capitulation strong
and armed

with love

and light
a transformation
in kind

with the river, I flow with time

my muse

my muse lives in the wind
and under my skin

bleeding ink over a transparent sky
thin

and rough
around the edges

where the ambit of life is known
and unknown, and

we practice returning the love we’re shown

the seeds

the fields brown grass reminds of tall tasks

flowers not yet weeping
seeds buried deep
awaiting the stars signal

to start creeping

toward the light on the other side
where crimson colored apples
and white-washed cotton candy

fill the skies

they are the seeds
made out of the kindest touch
and a whole lot of hope and love

our hearts packaged in love…

gifts under the tree, it seems like some kind of land in-
between, known and not, it’s as if
you’ve come from afar,
and
dropped

the love you feel in aspects hearted, they are dreams
displayed with love, and a misty-eyed cavalcade
imparted

ribbons
held together,
just right,
the fit
tight,
with
much light,
swirling in a vacuum
of delight…and

a tender-loving kindness, with a whole lot of rich-textured
sentimental(ness)
bestowed
before
we
go, and
take flight

leaving behind our hearts packaged in love, bright, on this
most glorious
night…
