I am a presence bound illusion. Sorrow’s silence and frailty’s promise. Colorful revelations are nested in morbid fascination—pain. Love’s drama, nocturnal and natural. I am a performance of unity. Whimsical forms are meaning imbued names— destiny. A surreal experience and home to the ultimate reality.

I Step Into A Wish

I am on a quest for happiness. Pain,

the contours of skin—you

remind me solace returns anew. 

The center, a locus of control unmade, fragile and fraught. I 

step into a wish, protection’s umbrella—

cleansing. Humanity’s sins, I struggle 

to be me again.

flowers look through me
to you

telling tales of enchantments
rare, and at times

hard to scale
yet, I seek solace in the diamonds of your eyes

remembering, the sunshine

living in the stream of you and me
is proof

of the sacred and serene, our ultimate
truth
