daffodil dreams

from the tips of my fingers
to the tops of my toes

a flower sits
in repose

calling to me
dejected and forlorn

I compose

myself
and listen to the words whispered
forth

speaking to me of daffodil dreams
and peeks sanguine

in the distance
they seem

like a memory

of another time
when the love you brought to me

was something altogether different
than this fractured reverie

indigo aspect

green, purple, and blue,
they all remind me of something
new

clouds hanging behind the sun,
while the hunter rises
to the tops of the crisp autumn
morn

a cascading effect โ€”
hope

lingers on my breath,
while present is this indigo
aspect

combined with lavender,
an aura coming out from behind
the moon

they are all products of the love
living inside of me
and you

the seeds

the fields brown grass reminds of tall tasks

flowers not yet weeping
seeds buried deep
awaiting the stars signal

to start creeping

toward the light on the other side
where crimson colored apples
and white-washed cotton candy

fill the skies

they are the seeds
made out of the kindest touch
and a whole lot of hope and love

The Moon’s Lullaby, Published at MasticadoresUSA

I am so pleased to announce that my poem, The Moonโ€™s Lullaby, is now available at MasticadoresUSA. Thank you to Gabriela Marie Milton, and the team at MasticadoresUSA for their continued support, and for publishing this piece.

The Moonโ€™s Lullaby

moon night, I shine,
bottomless love is divineโ€ฆ

I had a conversation with the moon once. It was long ago, during a mist-covered evening, I was feeling quite lonely, and out of the ordinary. That evening the moon shined brighter than Iโ€™d ever seen.

It did almost feel likeโ€ฆ

I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

stamped and sealed

my emotions crumble, as the weight of the world
trembles

walking in the forest, I pick cherry pits from
the ceiling

and

loose the heavens upon my heart, with one wish
and prayer

I dare

to walk among the trees, and see faith in humanity

a dream

when worlds collide among egoistic travesties

crimson colored roses, remind me of bloodshed and
gore

in the moment

resting along the thorns, dreams leak from my eyes,
as arises

despise

while peace lives on the other side, in an envelope
of bliss

I send it along with my heart, stamped and sealed with a kiss

Sending all of my love and prayers to the people of Ukraine. We stand with you.

smoke and mirrors

wrath is misplaced, as are watching metaphors
dissipate

into smoke and mirrors, telegraphing you from
afar, trees become
me

as I stare into oblivion, violence becoming, nay,
letโ€™s stray, and instead
shelter

peace and love, along the hills we keep running

tips touching, lingering effects take shape, and
into our hearts
stars, and
galaxies

we place, with zeal and frenzy, calling you home,
nested in a heart-shaped
abode

named after you and me, loveโ€™s alcove

cinnamon wisps

trees drip with cinnamon wisps, as
cardinal points tug at
my heart

directing me toward the riverfront

while walking along the sand, beneath
my feet, pebbles
stand

reminding
me of diamonds
encrusted with love,
made of dreams from above

they poke and prod, feelings shod, while
reminiscence floods
my mind

and I let love go byโ€ฆ

wafting in the
stream, I continue to
believe

in the love โ€”

Iโ€™ll forever beโ€ฆ

running through the flowers

the road unfolds along a dirt abode, where travelers
come together seeking
shelter

from
the
storm

rising with the sun, learning more in the afternoon
glow, hints of colors soโ€ฆ

I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

still breathing you in…, Published at MasticadoresUSA

I am so pleased to announce that my poem, still breathing you inโ€ฆ, is now available at MasticadoresUSA. A big thank you to Gabriela Marie Milton, and the team at MasticadoresUSA for their continued support, and for publishing this piece.

still breathing you inโ€ฆ

the last time I saw you, Coltrane was spinning,
and there was this feeling, a rose in your
hair,
cunning, and
fair

while music billowed out, raspy, deep sounds filtering
throughout,
andโ€ฆ

I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!
