is it
so difficult
to grasp
the meaning
of a life
lived upon theโฆ

the day
the secret came,
the rain
was full of cane
sugary sweet,
just like
the imagery
you create
visual astounding,
as my heart
continues pounding,
looking after
the effects
of the love that came
calling, is resounding
to you, me,
and the timeless
freedom we grasp,
when with each other, we seem
full
of a wonder
beckoning us forward,
mirroring the beauty seen
in natureโs preponderance, a dance
in-between, just soโฆ
as we
begin again,
and learn more,
the shore,
like a diamond,
reminding us, of
the connectedness
of the love at our coreโฆ
freedom
feels like
water pouring
through my fingers,
gently escaping
the limitations
of a love
from before,
as we transcend
what was,
in favor of
what is to become,
in the future, heretofore
nevermore, only
ever forevermoreโฆ

you come to me
in dreams,
as I wrangle
with my feelings,
and the rocks in my heart,
pull at me one by oneโฆ
tales lived,
woven with liquid
dreams, as we continue
to share
ourselves
and seal the seams
with
a love
so rare,
itโs hard
to explain
the affair
yet,
Iโm beckoned
again, and again,
to write
what comes up
feeling
like
the mysteries
are ready to jump
straight
from
my heart,
through
my fingers, and
onto
the page
youโre already readingโฆ
trees grow
tall,
and strong
from earthly soil, and
as
they
avail, are
given
guidance,
and strength
from beyond the pale
roots,
dug in deep,
like the veins
running through
you
and meโฆand,
as
reflection
gives way, a
preponderance
of evidence
comes
forthโฆ
teaching us
of the unity,
and companionship,
between
all living things,
and the me, you see
beauty unseen
in despair,
felt like a lead weight
across my chest,
and inside my heart, blessed
forevermore
is known, yet
time stood still
for a moment, grown
and,
unbeknownst to me
lasting an eternityโฆ
felt
deep inside,
trees look at me, and
shake their limbs, they see
the magic
living inside of
every moment,
even those that feel
so solemn and swollen
with feelings
bound together,
configured
like a mass of pressure
growing
stronger over time,
unable to realize
the threadโs end
lives inside
awaiting a kindness,
often seen in my dreams,
I recollect all those
lost feelings, and
begin to pull the thread
closer to me
and,
as the thread comes forth,
the pressure subsides,
as the tears wash away
the pain of yesterday
so gray, and
at the same time
lighted rays fill my heart
with gratitude,
may I stay?
is a question
needed not,
leave off the clamour,
for its inside this space
where weโll find the answer
heart bared,
and transfigured,
manipulated,
just like a trigger
pulled on
again, and again
I often
asked myself
then
where
did this
story beginโฆ
in a
deserted
landscape, devoid
of senses, and
flushed
with ambiguity
we reflect
upon
those moments,
with a zeal
and flourish
and,
understand
today, they
kept us away
from the connection
we felt,
deep inside
actions
eluding us,
unable to take
ahold of
the unity dealt,
however, aligned
in
the presence,
and
knowing,
always arising, yet
unable to abide
in our heartโs center,
so bold and kind
and, years laterโฆ
the knowing
did not subside,
rather, it
grew deeper, and
shined forth,
just like
a star-
spangled night
the river runs
north and south,
feeling the drift
of the current begin,
letting go
of the trembling within
for nowโฆ
discovering
more on the banks,
eddies sharply tasked
with creating stability,
loose leaves raining down,
cascading,
for deliriums sake
a breakโฆ
not far away,
stowed, and a little
out of control
wanting to resign,
as the love
of my life
passes by
walking
along the shore,
greeting the love,
missed by a kiss,
forevermore, remiss
the lightโฆ
cascades
through the trees,
dancing, and
entrancing,
so majestically
touching
the being withdrawn
from within, soโฆ
let us beginโฆ
fields
of memories glean
and, the water tower
sits at the center
of a love that is greater
than
what we purported
to know, as the grass
grows taller, and we stay
a little while longer
sitting
in each otherโs
presence, while the birds
among the trees
sing love songs
to each other, called forever
and
a moment
together, is worth more
than all the gold
laid down
inside the rock
a millennia ago
when last
there was a time
that stopped
stood still
just like,
my heart
when youโre near
close
enough
to feel youโre
presence on my face
breathing
and whispering
something
into outer space,
as I await
your warm embrace
sparkling seas, reminiscent
of sparkling eyes,
as they laid upon
me that very first time
among
the open trees,
where we laid
so quietly
awaiting
the presence,
or stirring, of some
other kind of mention
oh,
how sublime
it is in reflection
not known
by name,
only ever by the
feeling that came
forth
in that moment,
as we held hands,
and looked up
at the opening,
so vast, ah, the beauty
is here at last
will it stay
was not even
a question we asked
there was
no need, as we began
to climb from the field
into the air, and whispered
among the trees songs,
so sincere,
and beautiful in contrast
a melody,
cast from shadows,
as they dance among the
gallows, and halls,
of times shallow walls
jumped over
so quick,
we were thin footed,
and running
in two,
we then split
as we
gathered up
momentum
and brushed
ourselves with
the winds, and broke
melancholy on a whim
I flitter
at the moonโs
presence
within my
aboded center
as
nostalgia
runs deep, like a
never-ending crater
while I sleep
and,
dream of
places far from
imagination,
yet all hiding
within
our hearts center
of creation
following
the line in the sand,
I trail behind,
and ask for a plan
and,
in the silence,
a mirror image
remerges
of you and me, glowing
brightly,
just like
the moon nightly
bright, brilliant,
and full of promises
to be given,
as we stop,
and listen
to the breeze
that glistens
