the moon arises, like my heart
beating with the tide
I rely
on the mist in my eyes
relating
the misery of humankind
and
the stories we disrupt in the night

residing in the night
are you
always there, steadfast
through your heart of care
I write from my soul
to share
a thought
built out of love, trust
and a common ground forged
through blood and dust
a reminiscence, like the sultry
taste of your skin
delivered
over the many years spent apart
drifting
like the sea again
I find you, the sky within

rainbow trim
folded end over end, like a piece
of steel
with rainbow trim
a fascinating deluge of colors
vibrant and felt within
my heart
it beats to a steady rhythm, resonatingโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

cosmos within
I sit, knees and hands folded
end over end
awaiting the cosmos to appear
within
my heart, a flower blooming
in the vacuum of space and time
a riddle, when chasingโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

I learned to drink you in
when young, and bold
to me, you always told
the distinction between
the stream residing, inside
and the one that trickles
within
the mist and dew-ladened
petals
trimmed
with honey, and the scent of jasmine
herein
it runs back and forth
filling my life with equal parts
your love
and
the love that dwells within my hope-filled heart
I am thrilled to announce that on Monday, August 1 at 6 am PT the title and cover of my debut poetry book will be revealed! A big thank you to Ingrid Wilson, of Experiments in Fiction, and to all of you for supporting me each day, every day. My love and blessings to you all.

stone colored glass
I often think about the past
itโs like looking through stone colored glass
hazy, and filled with trauma, a cold place
inside my chest
lingering among flowers, thought and feeling
reconcile meโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

touch and taste
every little touch, and taste
takes me
to another place
desire afire, living inside the tranquility of the seasโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

my heart spills the seeds
of a thousand past lives
dwelling within the trauma
sitting
alongside
the love I feel for you, wishing
upon the night sky
we make do
with candles ensconced in petaled
fragrances
of pain, a dew
sitting upon the land and sea
it seems
extreme, yet
inside
I know
Iโll always continue to believe

a desolate street feeds
my dreams
with pain and hope both
donโt you know
itโs part of the mystery hidden
inside the love we show
to the sky, and to the people walking by
as we learn more about the lights glimmering in the night
they whisper of shadows long and tall
relational aspects of
our drawn out
souls
ready to depart this plane for another
on the winds of time
and the gentleness of the breeze
my grandmotherโs wind chimes, speak to me
of tarnished tears shed over years and years
and of everything you and I hold dear
Iโm excited to let you all know that my debut book manuscript is complete! I would like to thank Ingrid Wilson, from Experiments in Fiction, for many fabulous insights, and wonderful editing work. We are now on to book creation and cover design. Exciting!

I am excited to announce that my poem, You, Seedling, is now available at Spillwords Press. A big thank you to Dagmara K., and the whole team at Spillwords for publishing this piece, and for their continued support.
You, Seedling
like a seed growing up through the ground
you were born, and the mystery
continued to confound
me, relating to the breeze was always so easy
and, yet
the little one cradling my finger
was our seedling, beautiful
with an airโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!
I would also like to acknowledge Gabriela Marie Miltonโs poem, You, Night, the title of which was the inspiration for how I titled this piece.
