tonight the moon is blue
hung high over the ocean tide
murmuring love tunes
to stir up the calm water
within me
this blue flame
licking my already burning skin
reminds me of the orange Sky
we lay under
the texture of your shyness
the layers of my wanting
peeling off the first blooms
of our love

Asleep in her chrysalis,
Small and insignificant,
She’s waiting,
Hesitating,
Unsure where she fits in.
Her dreams ebb and flow,
Gentle and slow;
Desire and longing
Lie obscured in the mist.
She’s safe in this womb,
Her cozy cocoon,
Where no judgments can drift.
But life teems all around:
The scents and the sounds,
Meter and rhyme forming verses sublime–
She breaks free and takes wing.
Adrift on a breeze,
She spies the nectar she needs;
Vast fields of inspiration
Fill her heart with elation.
Now proud and unafraid,
Her emotions are displayed
On the outside.
No more pseudonyms
And no need to hide–
She’s finally at peace
Inside her own skin.

fingers outstretched through space, and time, deft clutch,
feeling so much, you were here,
now gone, yet the senses
still
tickle
with your touch
burning
with desire, loving from within, learning more about
the nature of reality
seen in your
skin
beauty holds me hard, while love blossoms like an
apple tree…heart, absorbing the
shards
and
giving me more moments, than the sun provides
in all of its bestowments
of
glory
a
story
of healing with the warmth kindled from years of patience,
now living, loving, and basking
in
the presence
of your radiance…

there, and,
everywhere
we look, when
our eyes
finally
come into view
and,
notice
the
vastness
before us,
letting go
of the minds
preoccupation,
and
ability to
contemplate
all things, old
and, new
alike
it’s
as common

treasure trove,
buried behind
the alcove
of our
heart’s desire
as
they meet
again,
and again,
in a myriad
of contemplation,
and,
we grin
in
anticipation
of the game
to begin
and, at
last,
when
unearthed,
the gifts keep
giving,
while we sit
in the presence
of all the love
that’s been given
