I am excited to share my poem, I gently wish upon a star, which is now available at MasticadoresIndia. Though this is my last poem of the year with MasticadoresIndia, I am very excited about being a regular monthly contributor next year. Thank you again to Terveen Gill, and the entire team at MasticadoresIndia for publishing this piece, and for their continued support.
I gently wish upon a star
heartaches, reminding me of earthquakes, experienced in between the lines, moving past mistakes
of a life, this life, lived in moments unsure, and in others, grown taller than the applewood trees flowersโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!
I picked up a sunflower once, and twirled it betwixt my fingers, in-between blades of grass it did linger
taller than eyes can dance, like romance, sometimes askew, and sometimes askance
delivering love in the subtlest forms, like tasting sunlight on your lips, burnt amber and orange crisp, a dewdrop in the morning mistโฆ
I hope this holiday season continues to be a lovely one for each of you. May you, your friends, and your families experience peace, joy, love, and many blessings. I appreciate each of you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being here, and for supporting me. Sending you all my love.
the city slumbers, while the giant, along, lumbers, taking respite, when, in times of trouble, the mechanical birds, circle in the air, speeding more than is, a trifle, fair
spreading wings of love onto the land, protecting the visage of the wear and tear, it is the darkness prepared, and the light responding if they dareโฆ
battle imminent, patrons vigilant, while across the land, warriors gather, battle plans scrawled, even as some drawl and make the last call
needed, as love and light prepare, some scared, others ready for the nights, and the heights of desperation bared to
each soul everywhere, they take formation, gathering under the wings of justice, let ourselves stay present to the life-affirming sustenance
of the land, and within it, the love of our hearts, together, sheltered, as we whisper, this, our final prayerโฆ

Here is an excerpt, of the first of two poems that will be published this month at MasticadoresIndia.
may this song be sung
tears are like open wounds that never lie, on that, we can rely
and, try as we might
we are never truly sure, only ever, may we relish in the fervor of yesterdayโs delight, pushing us furtherโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

beauty doth reside in the heartโฆ
I sit atop a tree, taking in the beauty seen, beneath the forest floor, and above the skyline, amber tossed
less remorse(d)
once feltโฆ
I would be honored if youwould go here and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!
