I find you in the sun, and stars
and
in the trepidation, arising with the dawn
a feeling
like a cold, and misty day
awaiting our time
to dance
with the day
while watching the birds, back and forth
sway

I am so pleased to announce that my poem, Musical Heart, is now available at MasticadoresIndia. Thank you to Terveen Gill, and the team at MasticadoresIndia for their continued support, and for publishing this piece.
Musical Heart
morning tranquility
broken and crumbled, my part
of ashes spread all over the flower garden
and within the nest of my heart
made out of sticks and stonesโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

Iโm also excited to share that my official printed proof of Nature Speaks of Love and Sorrow arrived this week. Feeling grateful, and super excited about the release on September 1!

soft and supple, bending
with the wind
I dream
of a life given
to my heart, getting out of the way
of results
knowing
they belong to the riddle of time
freeing me
like a wind chime
blowing back and forth
making beautiful music out of sounds and notes

A quick reminder that the first reading from my debut poetry book, Natures Speaks of Love and Sorrow is this coming Monday at 6 am PT (USA). Iโm excited about all 4 of these upcoming poetry readings, and hope you enjoy them!

a desolate street feeds
my dreams
with pain and hope both
donโt you know
itโs part of the mystery hidden
inside the love we show
to the sky, and to the people walking by
as we learn more about the lights glimmering in the night
they whisper of shadows long and tall
relational aspects of
our drawn out
souls
ready to depart this plane for another
on the winds of time
and the gentleness of the breeze
my grandmotherโs wind chimes, speak to me
of tarnished tears shed over years and years
and of everything you and I hold dear
Iโm excited to let you all know that my debut book manuscript is complete! I would like to thank Ingrid Wilson, from Experiments in Fiction, for many fabulous insights, and wonderful editing work. We are now on to book creation and cover design. Exciting!

I am so pleased to announce that my poem, cosmic radiance, is now available at MasticadoresIndia. Thank you to Terveen Gill, and the team at MasticadoresIndia for their continued support, and for publishing this piece.
cosmic radiance
I walk along the forest floor, watching
as the mysteries pour forth
blooming evergreen weeds, struggling up
through the ground
looking to see if anyoneโs around
they always wink at me
relating a resilience
and a broad-spectrum playfulnessโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

the stream runs faster
and farther
than a single breath can last
moving in tandem
with a purpose delivered
at last
a mirror cracking and aching
from lost parts
pebbles and rocks strewn out
deep and broad
while I
give a wink, and nod
to the sky, singing the stream
a simple lullaby
made form syllables
long and short
all delivered from my heart of hope

broken hearts of the wind
are gentle, in times when strings are
thin, and fierce
as we gather the materials within
to live, love, and laugh at the sky
reminding me
of how hard we all try
even when we want to shout
we can still let it go by
with a pause, and a breath
watching the waves wash over our missteps
revealing, and relating
the nature of the cosmos in your eyes
of a love
that always shines

I am so pleased to announce that my poem, stems and seeds, is now available at MasticadoresUSA. Thank you to Gabriela Marie Milton, and the team at MasticadoresUSA for their continued support, and for publishing this piece.
stems and seeds
shadows are cast over my eyes
as I try to find
the nature of reality inside
the stems and seeds
gifted to me
while I await the return of the tide
within
the heart and stone romancingโฆ
I would be honored if you would go here, and read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

I bleed from the trepidation within
of salt and the sand beneath
the trees skin
Itโs like wondering, and wandering
around the needle of a haystack
rightly sized and trimmed
with a beneficence of hope, and
a ladle made from the love we once formed
Is it possible to love this much, and not bleed more?
I donโt think so either.
For, itโs in the form of the fountain
where love gets lighter
living beneath the breath of this struggling architect, and
the love that lives within
the next steps of his flowered aspects

I like to live underneath the trees
they satisfy me, and
my sensibility
of the known and unknown
Did you know that around every corner a bend is shown?
among the flowers, long and tall
as they, to me, draw
nearer, and
for the first time in life
a kaleidoscope of colors becomes clearer
purples and pinks always delight
while amber hues, and the relational aspects
of the indigo fields
speak to me of a love
lingering
in the shadows
awaiting its time to shine
upon you and I
