heart-centered relatedness

sun sets, afire with
an afterglow
of the morrow, as sorrow
wells in my chest, lest we forget
the many scars
imbedded in the net

of my beingnessโ€ฆ

one step forward,
looking out
over the vastness
of this planets loveliness,
I digress, and ponder
the reality from within
my own knowingness, as

love spreads out
from the seas,
and through the air,
traveling
from here to there,
making its way
into the hearts
of all
that live inside
of this planetโ€™s
heart-centered relatedness

of a love so pristine

rock
splinters wood,
and you tried
as hard
as you could

in each instance

a different
set of circumstances,
presented, just as
the flower
reminds me
of the love in forever

we daydream,
and cast our nets
into the stream,
consciousness, in-between

you and me

far as it seems,
it is here,
and now, just
as it was
intended to be

a dream?

maybe, yet
does it really matter
to the flower, or
the streamโ€ฆ

they continue
to flower, and
continue to stream
regardless
of what comes up
on their inner screen

how serene, and

contemplative
is this dream
we call
a reality
of all
that weโ€™ve gleaned

of a love so pristine

of a love from before

the day
the secret came,
the rain
was full of cane

sugary sweet,
just like
the imagery
you create

visual astounding,
as my heart
continues pounding,
looking after
the effects
of the love that came

calling, is resounding

to you, me,
and the timeless
freedom we grasp,
when with each other, we seem

full
of a wonder
beckoning us forward,
mirroring the beauty seen
in natureโ€™s preponderance, a dance

in-between, just soโ€ฆ

as we
begin again,
and learn more,
the shore,
like a diamond,
reminding us, of
the connectedness
of the love at our coreโ€ฆ

freedom
feels like
water pouring
through my fingers,
gently escaping
the limitations

of a love
from before,
as we transcend
what was,
in favor of
what is to become,
in the future, heretofore
nevermore, only
ever forevermoreโ€ฆ

two vines, dancing forevermore

I watch,
listen,
and learn more,
as the forest
comes alive, and

the
vibrancy
emanating off
the floor,
speaks to me
in a language
never heard beforeโ€ฆ

light
dancing
with darkness,
as shadows
glow, and speak
of transcendence

leaves fall,
while I sprawl,
and continue
to listen
to two hearts,
intertwined now,
just like two vines,
dancing forevermore

multicolored
feathers,
reminiscent of
multifaceted
pressures, and

as time passes, we
learn more,
and discover,
the nature
of our belief
in each other, just

as the trees
talk to us
about love lost, wayward

for a time,
now found,
a mirror image
of me, I see,
holding fast
and forever free, in

the
love felt

between
the me,
I see
in you,
and
the you,
I see, in meโ€ฆ

a gift from the seas

troubled times,
filled with ties, tethered,
reminding me
of the weather,
when we
were once together

chosen
to take on
the pleasure,
while you listened
from far away, forever

distant,
hard to grasp, as
we watch
the grown grass

take its time,
reaching

towards the skylineโ€ฆ

will it
make it,
hard to define

the
unimaginable, yet
we find solace
in the curvatures
of the worldโ€™s futures

as they
come to fruition,
we pause,
breathe, reflect,
and protect
the actions presence, our
current sentence

as, I

ask
for your hand
again,
while weโ€™re reminded
of the sun,
behind the trees,
hiding from you and me,
yet always present,
like a gift from the seas

a love so thick

the rising sun
reminds me,
of the
collective setting,
as we
cast our nets

lest we
forget,
the love
we never metโ€ฆ

reflecting upon
the dream,
Iโ€™m reminded
of you,
as roots belong to trees,
you, and me,
are one behind the breeze

of a love

filled
with such fervor,
itโ€™s hard to
remember
the temperature
in the room
the day we met
between
the covers, spent

blanketed

in a love
so thick,
it fills the room
with a life of its own

and,
we swoon

recognizing
the futility
of trying
to capture
its essence
in purity

instead,
we simply
agree

to
just be

with
each other,
like weโ€™ll
never have
another night
to spend together,
forever lovingโ€ฆ

and strong
from earthly soil, and

avail, are

given
guidance,
and strength
from beyond the pale

roots,
dug in deep,
like the veins
running through

you
and meโ€ฆand,
as

reflection
gives way, a
preponderance
of evidence
comes
forthโ€ฆ

teaching us
of the unity,
and companionship,
between
all living things,
and the me, you see

the water
is beautiful,
and clear, as the sky,
a mirror,
intended for
our hearts desire,
clearer

we feel

transfixed
by the soundsโ€ฆ

water
running,
sun shining,
and love in
our hearts,
beating togetherโ€ฆ

we fly higher,
now, and, forever

weโ€™ll always share

weeds feed
my dreams, in a
cavalcade of screams,
while the
majesty in-between, is
just as it seems

rocking back,
and forth
on the porch,
sitting, and
staring at the dead, it dreams

like another reality
altogether, as
birds fly back,
and forth, mirroring
my actions,
without
the necessary transcendence

of beingโ€ฆ

felt, not felt,
smothering
like a fleece blanket
on top of
the history
weโ€™ve shared together

recalled,
less enthralled,
I walk towards you
with love in my
heart, stopped,
attracted, less
retracted,
without a stare,
only ever a deeply felt care,
weโ€™ll always share
