wind chimes

a desolate street feeds
my dreams

with pain and hope both
don’t you know

it’s part of the mystery hidden
inside the love we show

to the sky, and to the people walking by
as we learn more about the lights glimmering in the night

they whisper of shadows long and tall
relational aspects of

our drawn out
souls

ready to depart this plane for another
on the winds of time

and the gentleness of the breeze
my grandmother’s wind chimes, speak to me

of tarnished tears shed over years and years

and of everything you and I hold dear

I’m excited to let you all know that my debut book manuscript is complete! I would like to thank Ingrid Wilson, from Experiments in Fiction, for many fabulous insights, and wonderful editing work. We are now on to book creation and cover design. Exciting!

I walk along the forest floor, watching
as the mysteries pour forth

blooming evergreen weeds, struggling up
through the ground

looking to see if anyone’s around

they always wink at me
relating a resilience

and a broad-spectrum playfulness…

glass pieces

the tide is like a tunneled scope
deep within
where feelings live along a coral reef

of sin, and stone

Have you ever felt it, and just known?

Me too.

it’s like a mystical garden
in the depths of the sea

learning more about the pain and trauma of
tranquility, though

I always pause to breathe

into my heart, and look to the sky
where diamonds shatter into a thousand pieces of glass

as I contemplate
the love living inside the mystery of this life at last

displays are on the screen
and behind them are clouds seen

as mysteries continue to pour into me

of a love lingering in the rain
specks of dust are always the same

tiny fragments of being, they came

to me at last
while I let my heart open to the possibilities

the pages of our story…

you whispered to me once, it came through
the trees, unseen, a beautiful thing
discovered
amidst
the

flowers, and turbulent troubles, left for the moment,
like leaves falling from the sky,
you remind me
of the
why

in existences’ cry….calling to you and me, a
new whisper seen, and felt
in-between
the

pages of our story, lived, loved, and magically
created, like two dancers, entwined
in a kiss so
soft

subtleness

takes on a new form, as realization dawns, and two
hearts are, together, as one,
drawn…

a dance of mysterious tapestry


as the breeze comes through the window,
I hang hopes on clouds, running fast,
and furious, quite profound

are they

beautiful, translucent, and full of
magical movement, transcending this
moment…

light and dark, in a dance of mysterious
tapestry, woven gently, and carefully,
by the unseen, preen

shielding you and me, from the glean,
as the shadows begin to dance with
the trees

the flowers perk up, and provide a love
seen

lasting centuries…

the dream tree…

the veins of the earth pour
through me, as I sit quietly, contemplating
the tree, me, and all I see…

…I wonder if this life is really meant to be,
or, if the me I see, is simply a reflection
of the dream tree…

cascading light reflects off the tree, and
I gather up memories bound underneath the sea,
and wish for another reality

where pain and pleasure go together,
like twins, conjoined in a love so tender,
kind, and altogether

reminiscent

of the mystery,
we’ve spent our lives trying to out figure…

all things beautifully configured…

rocks covered in green,
the misty between,
sitting at the edge of the unseen,
wondering what this mystery is to me…as

reflection gives way
to transgressions of the past,
and mind continues to flitter,
here, and there, I

sit quietly, watching and observing the
drama play out, without a shout…as

flitter turns
inside out, and brings with it some clout…now

slowing down…as

love arises from the center
of all things beautifully configured…

you come to me
in dreams,
as I wrangle
with my feelings,
and the rocks in my heart,
pull at me one by one…

tales lived,
woven with liquid
dreams, as we continue
to share
ourselves
and seal the seams

with

a love
so rare,
it’s hard
to explain
the affair

yet,

I’m beckoned
again, and again,
to write
what comes up

feeling

like
the mysteries
are ready to jump

straight

from
my heart,
through
my fingers, and
onto
the page
you’re already reading…

The Moonlights Kiss

fingers glide
along the edges
of the velvety landscape
while
wishing upon a star
for all those who have died
and come before

dreams larger
than life itself
seeded
when young
and
given the proper care
while
attended with love
and devotion
their utmost bared

connection
to the landscape
so clear
it’s as if the sky
has opened up
and given itself to me
as a gift

sun shining down
petals an afterglow of
revelry
and
the mysterious
challenges
we face
hidden
along the lines
we trace

leaving behind
shadows dancing
while
attracting
the moonlight’s
kiss
upon our
collective
face
